Deck the Halls, Not Your Relatives
A lighthearted hour of staying grounded when the season gets a little too merry
Date & Location:
Dec 14, 2026, 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM PST
Virtual Event
About the Event:
The lights are up, the calendar is full, and somehow your shoulders are already up around your ears. Between gift lists, travel plans, cookie trays, and the people who know exactly which buttons to push, this season can ask a lot of your nervous system. And if you’re spending it on your own, the quiet can feel louder than usual.
Join Jigna and Kurt for a cozy, playful hour of mindfulness, nourishment, and movement as the year winds down. We’ll explore simple ways to come back to your center when things get loud, nourish yourself through a season of excess, and gently notice the old stories that tend to show up around the tree. You’ll leave with a few pocket practices to carry into the holidays and into the new year.
Grab a mug of something warm and come as you are.
Your hosts: Jigna & Kurt

Jigna Patel is a Mindful Life Transition Coach who weaves mindfulness, somatic practices, and nervous system education to help people stay grounded through life’s big shifts. She brings warmth, curiosity, and a deep respect for how much love and complexity a family gathering can hold.
Kurt Rough is a certified nutrition coach, movement enthusiast, and storyteller who explores how we nourish and move our bodies, how we age with strength and curiosity, and how the stories we tell about ourselves shape who we become. Drawing on myth, movement, and a lifetime of following his curiosity, he invites people to question the stories they’ve inherited and reconnect with their bodies.
