This free, RSVP-only community event is offered in collaboration with Columbia Bank (Northgate branch), who have graciously opened their space for this gathering.
If you’ve been in constant doing mode for a long time, slowing down can feel uncomfortable, unfamiliar, or even wrong.
This session is an invitation to pause and reconnect with your body.
Together, we’ll explore how rest is not laziness, but a natural and necessary part of being human. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of why your body may be asking you to slow down, along with simple, supportive ways to build micro-rest into everyday life.

About the Session
This is a beginner-friendly experience that includes a short talk, simple reflection prompts, and a guided practice. There is no pressure to share, perform, or get it right.

Your Facilitator

Jigna is a mindfulness facilitator and space holder who guides people back to themselves through grounded, compassionate practices. Her work weaves together mindfulness, nervous system awareness, and reflective inquiry to support deeper self-connection, emotional clarity, and inner steadiness.
She creates spaces that are gentle, real, and deeply human, especially for those who have spent a long time caring for others, carrying a lot, or living in constant motion.

Is this a lecture or an interactive session?
